Quiet Minds is a weekly radio show on Plains FM 96.9 Community Radio, that aims to promote a consumer focused mental health radio programme. While the programme is aimed at people with experience of mental illness and their families, it will also appeal to the wider community and promote greater awareness, acceptance, understanding and enlightenment. This is a service of the Mental Health Advocacy and Peer Support Trust (MHAPS).

The information on HealthInfo has been written and approved by local doctors, practice nurses, hospital clinicians, and other healthcare professionals, and is specific to Canterbury. The website is a mix of health information, ranging from factsheets on different topics and descriptions of local health services and supports, through to links to recommended websites for further reading and research.  

Long Description:

PlunketLine is a toll-free parent helpline and advice service available to all families, whānau and caregivers. Calls are free from cellphones and you don’t have to be registered with Plunket to access or use PlunketLine services. All calls will be answered by a Plunket nurse, who can give you advice and information on parenting issues and your child’s health and wellbeing.
