A telephone only coordination and resource service for alcohol and drug issues. We accept referrals via post, fax and email from GP’s and other community agencies and self referrals via telephone or drop in to the centre. All referrals are contacted for a telephone screening Consumers may be offered brief intervention, self help information, support/education groups and referral to other agencies for individual counselling or intensive treatment programmes Weekly meetings with alcohol and other drug (AOD) assessment agencies to allocate for comprehensive assessments This service provides a link to all AOD treatment providers in Christchurch This service can provide information regarding resource options for consumers, families and professionals
