Specialist outpatient service providing comprehensive psychiatric assessment and therapeutic intervention for children, adolescents and adults to age 65 years who are culturally displaced refugees or migrants to New Zealand and suffer from a diagnoses or suspected psychiatric disorder. Referrals are received from schools and community agencies, GP’s and other health professionals. Where appropriate, clients are referred on to other services. The service has a close relationship with wide range of interpreters.
