PURAPURA WHETU TRUST
As a community based kaupapa Māori health and social services provider, Purapura Whetu helps adults, teenagers, children and their whānau get well, stay well, live well. We offer a range of free services to: Tamariki (children) and Taiohi (teenagers) who are experiencing issues with their mental health or are considered “at risk”. Pakeke (adults) experiencing issues affecting their mental health or who have a current mental health diagnosis. Whānau needing support with a loved one who is affected by a mental health disorder. Services include: Community support work, Stop Smoking Service, Mental Health Wellbeing Day Activity Programme for adults, Whānau Ora community support work, child and family counselling, mental health screening and treatment planning, advocacy and group programmes.Fee based services include education, clinical and cultural supervision.
